Adani Green Energy announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Adani Saur Urja (KA) Limited, has incorporated two new wholly-owned subsidiaries: Adani Hydro Energy Two Limited and Adani Hydro Energy Three Limited, on November 27, 2024.

 

HUDCO, NBCC

 

Housing & Urban Development Corporation (Hudco) has signed a memorandum of understanding with NBCC (India) Ltd. for the development of a 10-acre land parcel owned by Hudco in Noida. NBCC will oversee the execution of the project, which is estimated to cost Rs 600 crore.

 

KEC International

 

KEC International has secured turnkey orders worth Rs 1,704 crore in its transmission and distribution business. These orders, from Power Grid Corporation of India, involve the design, supply, and installation of 765 kV transmission lines and GIS substations.

 

Godrej Properties

 

Godrej Properties has launched a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) to raise up to Rs 6,000 crore by selling equity shares to investors, aiming to fund its growth plans. Last month, the company’s board had approved the decision to raise Rs 6,000 crore through the issuance of securities.

 

Vedanta

 

Moody’s has upgraded Vedanta Resources Ltd’s corporate family rating from B3 to B2 following its successful liability management exercises. In another development, Vedanta Aluminium has partnered with PwC India to enhance biodiversity conservation and carbon reduction efforts in Jharsuguda, Odisha.

 

LIC

 

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is in talks to acquire up to 50% of the stake in ManipalCigna Health Insurance, as the country’s largest insurer looks to enter the fast-growing and underpenetrated market for medical expense coverage.

 

Waaree Renewable

 

Waaree Renewable Technologies has received a term sheet for the construction of a solar PV project valued at Rs 1,233 crore.

 

Natco Pharma

 

Natco Pharma has sold 14.4 acres of land with clear titles in Telangana for Rs 116 crore, which includes infrastructure costs.
