Dr Tripathi Has been engaged in the innovations of organic and herbal farming among the tribals for three decades after resigning from a prestigious post of Bank officer.

•Under the aegis of Writers and Journalists Association, Delhi and Acharya Mahavir Prasad Dwivedi National Memorial Committee, to commemorate the 158th birth anniversary of the Acharya of Hindi, Mahavir Prasad Dwivedi, on July 09, 2022 at Gandhi Shanti Pratishthan, ITO, New Delhi at 5:00 PM. It is a great coincidence that this year the silver jubilee year of Acharya Smriti Abhiyan is also starting. This will be followed by many other events throughout the year in other parts of the country.


The country’s eminent personalities from the literary world and media world will participate in this grand national function. Seven selected great personalities of the country are being honored in the field of literature, environment, social services and journalism.
The top jury committee decided by the office bearers of both the institutions to honor Dr. Rajaram Tripathi of Chhattisgarh Kondagaon with “Mama Baleshwar Dayal Award-2022”. This award is being given for the continuous unique and exemplary work done by him in the agriculture sector in the last three decades for uplifting the lives of tribal communities. Born and brought up in Kakanar, a remote tribal forest village of Bastar, Rajaram had decided since childhood to do something for his motherland, Bastar. Ultimately, despite refusing of his friends and family, by kicking off the job of a high officer of a reputed bank. Since last three decades,he is continuously innovating in the cultivation of organic and herbal medicines among the tribals of Bastar, are engaged in making agriculture a profitable enterprise. Dr. Tripathi has been one of the few influential voices of the country who have consistently raised burning topics in the agriculture sector at various forums.
During the days of his college education, along with some close friends, he had also published the weekly fire brand newspaper “Bastar Today” with a very strong attitude, which soon got closed due to financial crisis. At present, Dr. Tripathi is the editor of “Kasaad”, a monthly magazine of tribal consciousness, art, culture and news published from Delhi. He is constantly writing in the country’s prestigious newspapers and magazines on the subjects of rural economics, agriculture, employment etc. Most of his poems are focused on the concerns of Bastar and are dedicated to Bastar. That is why you are called “Bastar Ka Sur Saptam” poet. He is a strong supporter of Bastar and Halbi, the local dialect of Bastar. The entire Chhattisgarh state including Bastar is feeling proud with the announcement of Dr. Tripathi receiving this prestigious national award.
