Invited the top scientists of the country to see the multi-level “Kondagaon model” of herbal farming,
Government should stop step-motherly treatment with organic farming, Organic is the new boon: Dr. Tripathi
The new species of “pepper” and “stevia” of Bastar farmers were appreciated by international scientists,

Dr. Rajaram Tripathi speaking in the capacity of “invited expert speaker- panelist” in this grand international conference organized at Pusa campus of ICAR ICAR, the country’s top agricultural research institute, in the two-day international conference of Asian countries on “Organic Farming Asia-2022”. All India Farmer Alliance (AIFA) National convener Dr. Rajaram Tripathi, said that the government only beats the drum of organic farming, but when it comes to giving grants, the entire treasury is lifted and handed over to the companies of chemical fertilizers. And organic farming is referred to as “zero-budget” with deceptive fake rhetoric, the rattle is stopped. Dr. Tripathi, keeping his point with facts and figures, said that, as per the available information of the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India, about 70 million tonnes of chemical fertilizers are used annually in the country.

This simply means that the population of about 130 crores of the country is consuming about 54 kg of chemical fertilizers every year. That is, children, old people, young men and women, every day, about one and a half hundred grams per person, that is, half a pound of poisonous chemical fertilizers, is being consumed in the form of food items in the form of breakfast, lunch and dinner. And this is the reason that today every household is suffering from some or the other disease, and every family is surrounded by one or more diseases. From this, a large part of the income is sold to medical, medicines and doctors. Due to poisonous fertilizers and medicines, the precious fertile soil of Mother Earth, which feeds all living beings including humans, all the sources of water synonymous to all life and the climate and the environment of the whole earth have become toxic. Year after year, along with the amount of chemical fertilizers, the amount of poison that dissolves in the earth and our bodies is also increasing. If we talk about subsidy on chemical toxic fertilizers, then during 2020, the government provided “nutrient” based subsidy of Rs. If we would have believed in the country of 13 thirteen crore farmers, If so, the government can give ₹ 6000 per farmer. Dr. Tripathi invited agricultural scientists from India and other Asian countries including the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) to visit the country’s first (established: 1996) international certified organic farm “Maa Danteshwari Herbal Farm and Research Centre, Kondagaon Bastar” for cultivation of medicinal plants. Giving a warm invitation to come, he said that, in the last 25 years in the most backward, inaccessible tribal area of the country, in the field of organic and medicinal plants cultivation by the farmers of “Maa Danteshwari Herbal Group”, to see and understand the new innovations that have been done to increase the income of farmers, Along with doing more research, taking it to other farmers of the country is of great necessity. It is our great pleasure to inform the scientists of the country and other Asian countries that such a unique and more beneficial variety of “black pepper” has been developed by the “Maa Danteshwari Herbal Group” of Bastar, which has almost every type of In climate, farming can be done easily in almost all the states of the country, and the country One such new species of “Stevia” has also been developed in collaboration with CSIR (IHBT) Palampur, the apex research organization of India. There is absolutely no bitterness in it, and its leaves are 25 times sweeter than sugar and this sweetness is zero-calorie. New species of many other rare medicinal plants are also being worked on.
Tripathi said that more research should be done on organic farming, government, scientists and farmers will have to work together only then all the food related needs of mankind can be met while saving this earth and its environment.
